How it works

Three steps between you and a dog who’s actually right for you.

01

Tell us about your home

A few questions about your space, your schedule, and the kind of dog you're hoping for. It takes a couple of minutes.

02

See the dogs that fit

We rank the available dogs by how well they suit your life — and tell you why, instead of leaving you to guess from a photo.

03

Reach out to the shelter

Found one you like? Read their full profile and contact the shelter caring for them. The adoption happens with them directly.

Our mission

A home that fits — not just any home.

Most adoption sites are search engines: they help a dog get chosen. Far fewer help a dog stay. When an adoption doesn't last, it usually traces back to the same thing — a gap between what a dog needs and what a household can realistically give.

Closing that gap is the whole point of this platform. It's why the questionnaire comes before the listings, why every dog says plainly what it will need from you, and why we'd rather tell you nothing fits today than fill the page with dogs who don't.

Support shelters

Want to help beyond adopting?

Shelters and rescues run on tight budgets. When a shelter has its own donation page, you can give to them directly — the money goes straight to the shelter, on their own site. Forever Home never processes, receives, or holds any of it.
